Bike rally in Dadar to promote ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’
Makers of ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ had organised a bike rally of women in Dadar’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Park area on Saturday to promote their film which was released earlier day. Generally promotions of the films take place before the release of the film, but makers of this film tried this experiment to promote their film along with their film’s release.
During the bike rally every woman who took part in the rally was presented with a ‘Paithani’ a rich traditional saree of Maharashtra. Some games and lucky draw were also organised on this occasion. Leading lady of the film Sayali Sanjeev also joined the women during this bike rally. The reason for organising this rally was to encourage women to pursue their hobbies and dreams.
Overwhelmed with this response, Sayali Sanjeev reacted, “This is a special moment for me. I am very happy with the love and affection showered on me by my friends.” Directed by Shantanu Rode this film also stars Suvrat Joshi, Mrunal Kulkarni, Suhita Thatte, Milind Gunaji, Madhura Velankar, Girija Oak and Aditi Dravid.
Entertaining trailer of ‘Dhondi Champya’ released
An entertaining trailer of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dhondi Champya : Ek Prem Katha’ was released in presence of artistes of this film and invitees. Produced by Sunil Jain, Aditya Joshi, Vhenisa Roy and Aditya Shastri and presented by Reliance Entertainment, this film is directed by Dnyanesh Bhalekar. Film presents the unique love story happening between a Bufello and a Bull and at the same time of two youngsters Ovi and Aditya played by Sayali Patil and Nikhil Chavan. However, Ankush and Umaji from the same village, played by Bharat Jadhav and Vaibhav Mangale come in the way of these love stories.
‘Dhondi Champya‘ will be released on 16th December all over Maharastra and therefore the film lovers will have to wait for next two weeks to see whether these two love stories become successful or the enemity between Ankush and Umaji come in their way? According to director Dnyanesh Bhalekar, comedy subjects are favourites of Marathi audience and therefore they have presented this film, which can be enjoyed together by the entire family.This film has a love story and humour combined together. Story of this film is is inspired by the story of Prabhakar Bhogale, while story, screenplay and dialogues are written by Dnyanesh Bhalekar and Sagar Kesarkar.
‘Athang’ Part 3 and 4 released on OTT platform
Marathi Web Series ‘Athang’ which had invited the attention of home viewers with its first 2 episodes on Planet Marathi OTT platform, have now released the part 3 and 4 of their web series to generate more curiosity among the viewers. Sayali, Suvrat speak about their roles in ‘Goshta eka Paithanichi’
Much awaited Marathi film ‘Goshta eka Paithanichi’ is all set to release this Friday and therefore there is a lot of curiosity to know what the film is all about ? Lead artistes of this film Sayali Sanjeev and Suvrat Joshi have tried to explain about their characters in this film and how they prepared for these roles.
Sayali who plays a woman stiching blouses and making fall bidding for the sarees says that she always wants to study her characters and prepare for the same before the shooting. And therefore when she was offered this role, she actually joined a stichting class to understand the techniques of stitching so that she could portray her character naturally.
Suvrat who plays a flower vendor in this film, says that he prepared himself by standing next to flower vendors on the street and observed their body language closely. These characters though look simple, are very challenging to portray and that is why both these lead artistes studied them in their own ways. Neha Pendse to dedicate her new film to Late Vikram Gokhale
Recently, On her birthday popular actress Neha Pendse was to surprise her fans with the announcement of her new Marathi film with the release of its poster. However, due to sad demise of renowned actor Vikram Gokhale the announcement has been postponed. Incidentally, Vikram Gokhale was also part of this film and therefore Neha has decided to dedicate this film to him.
This new film is produced by Shardul Singh Bayas, Neha Pendse and Nikhil Mahajan and is directed by Rohit Mittal. Story is written by Shripad Deshpande and Rohit Mittal and very soon the name of the film will be disclosed. Speaking on the occasion of her birthday, Neha made this statement while thanking her friends and well wishers for their good wishes. She regretted her inability to make announcement of her film’s name on this day, as she felt that it was not a good time, due to sad demise of Vikram Gokhale, which was a big loss to the film industry.
Co producer Nikhil Mahajan also supported this decision and was all praise for Neha Pendse and her work, having worked with her in the film ‘June’. She is a passionate actress anda finest producer. He said that even with Vikram Sir, he worked in ‘Gadavari’ and even in this film, which was to be announced. And therefore, they were dedicating this film to him.
Vijay Kenkre to celebrate Cenutry of his plays with ‘Kali Rani’

First Poster of ‘Saath Sobat’ unveiled

‘Mana Baharala….’ Song from the film ‘Raundal’ released
Known for his dashing role of Baban in the national award winning Marathi film ‘Khwada’ the lead actor of this film Bhausaheb Shinde was busy all these days with his exercise regime to play a rough-and-tough character from the red soil of Maharashtra. ‘Athang’ trailer launched in a grand way
Now days trailers of the Marathi films are launched in big ways to generate interest among the film lovers. Makers of Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Athang’ launched the trailer of their film also in a big way. They recreated the period of 1800 with all the artistes of this film along with Ashok Saraf, Director Abhijit Panse, Siddharth Jadhav, Sayali Sanjeev and Shreya Bugade dressed up in traditional attire. A specially erected horror filled set invited the attention of all the invitees.
Highlight of this event was the presence of MNS Chief Mr. Raj Thackeray who interacted with Producer Tejaswini Pandit in an interesting talk show. This talk show brought to the notice of the invitees Mr. Raj Thackeray’s love for art. Speaking on this occasion, Mr. Raj Thackeray said, “ I came into politics accidentally. Hemant Dhome upset over cancellation of ‘Sunny’ shows
In the past, we have seen cancellation of shows of Marathi films at the 11th hour, in spite of booking of cinema halls and newspaper advertising about that show in a particular cinema hall.

Now, after a long break due to spread of corona pandemic, when we see reopening of theatres with the shows of the films, there has been limited attendance in theatres. However, we have not heard about cancellation of a show and refund of tickets to the buyers.
This has happened during the show of ‘Sunny’ in Kalyan. Refund has been given to the ticket buyer, after cancellation of show. The ticket buyer has brought this to the notice of Hemant Dhome, the director of this film, who in turn was upset expressed his reaction on social media. “ When the cinema hall is booked, it is obligatory on the part of theatre owner to screen the film, even if there is one buyer of ticket. Cancelling the show and refunding the ticket amount is a bad practice. We came to know about it as the audience pointed out this to us. This has not happened at one theatre, but also at different cinema halls in Maharashtra. This is injustice.” he said.
