Sonalee Kulkarni – Kunal Wedding Ceremony film to be released on 11th August
Till now, we had seen the clippings of celebrities weddings on social media or news channels. But, now the film of entire wedding ceremony of popular Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni and Kunal Benodekar will be shown on Planet Marathi from 11th August 2022. An announcement to this effect has been made by Planet Marathi channel, by releasing trailer of this film. The wedding ceremony in presence of close relatives and friends was held in London recently.

Speaking on this occasion, Sonalee said that she was more than happy that Planet Marathi OTT platform agreed to show this entire wedding ceremony on their channel. This is happening for the first time that a wedding ceremony film of a celebrity is being shown on web platform.

Rohit Raut to compose music for the film ‘Gadad’
Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Gadad’ has been in the news for being the first Marathi film based on scuba diving. But now, talented singer and music composer Rohit Raut has been in the news with this film, for setting the melodious music to the exciting story presented using advanced technology. Along with Marathi folk music, Rohit, who also knows western music, has given the lyrics of ‘Gadad’ a different musical touch
‘Gadad’ is produced by Capt. Avadesh Singh and Varsha Singh under the banner of Elula Future Vision Pvt. Ltd. Pradnyesh Ramesh Kadam has directed this film. The song recording of ‘Gadad’ was completed recently. Abhishek Khankar has written three songs for this film and all the three songs are in different moods. The film is a super natural thriller style, so Rohit has tried to give music in the same style. One of these songs is sung by Rohit Shyam Raut, the second by Juili Joglekar and the third song is sung by popular Hindi singer Divya Kumar.
Speaking about the challenges faced while composing the music for the songs of the film, Rohit said that many stories have happened while directing the music of ‘Gadad’. Since the film is a thriller, it was expected that the music would be a combination of thrill and fear. So this thought was always in the head while giving music. It was felt that some fear should be created in the minds of the audience even through music. That is what I and the entire team along with all the singers have tried to do and this film will keep the audience engrossed till the end. The process of composing music for ‘Gadad’ was a lot of fun. Rohit also assured that the fans will get a different album and never before heard music.
Jay Dudhane and actress Neha Mahajan will be seen in the film. Along with these two, there are actors like Shubhangi Tambale and Akash Kumbhar.
‘Bam Bam Bhole’ song from ‘Shivpratap Garudjhep’ becomes popular
Many a times popularity of a song from the forthcoming film helps a lot in the promotion of that film. This has happened in the case of Dr. Amol Kolhe‘s forthcoming Marathi film ‘Shivpratap Garudjhep (शिवप्रताप गरुडझेप )’ which is based on the historic event of the Great Escape by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from Agra Fort. This song written by Hrishikesh Paranjape, choreographed by Deepali Vichare on the music of Shashank Powar is set on the backdrop of this big event in the film.
Shot by cinematographer Sanjay Jadhav, this dance based song is sure to inspire the audience, according to producer and actor of this film Dr. Amol Kolhe. “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj inspired people from our country with his bravery acts and intelligence, which will be noticed in this film. And this particular song too has been presented in such a way, that its should inspire one and all,” he added. This film which is directed by Kartik Rajaram Kendhe will be released in September 2022.
‘Roop Nagar Ke Cheetey’ to present four glamorous girls
Ever since this Marathi film ‘Roop Nagar Ke Cheetey’ has been launched, it has been in the news for various reasons. Directed by Vihan Suryavanshi, the poster of this film was catchy and the first teaser of the film indicated that it was story about two friends played by Karan Parab and Kunal Shukla. But now, with the release of 2nd teaser of this film on social media, the four glamorous girls have been introduced. They are, Mugdha Chaphekar, Hemal Ingle, Aayushi Bhave and Sana Prabhu.
All four of them have established themselves in the glamour field either through beauty contests or entertainment industry. Mugdha Chaphekar from Mumbai has worked on television with her prominent role of Rajkumari Sanyogita in TV serial ‘Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj’. She has also won Maharashtra State award for debut Marathi film ‘The Silence’. Hemal Ingle belongs to Kolhapur being a beauty Queen at many Contests has made her debut in Marathi films through ‘Ashi Hi Aashiqui’‘ She has also appeared in TV serial ‘Vidrohi’ and in Mahesh Manjrekar’s web series ‘1962’. Sana Prabhu who is originally from Ratnagiri, is presently doing her Mass Media and Communications from Mumbai. She is a good dancer and was a finalist in Miss Pune Beauty Contest in 2018. And, Aayushi Bhave is a professional dancer in Film industry, having worked with renowned choreographers like Farah Khan, Geeta Kapur and Prabhudeva.

Fun filled Title song of ‘Takatak 2′ released
After experiencing stormy success of ‘Takatak’, now the sequel of this film ‘Takatak 2′ is the topic of discussion among Marathi film lovers. Recently, the chartbuster title track of this film was released. Directed by writer-director Milind Kavde, ‘Takatak 2′ has a title song ‘Ghe Takatak, De Takatak…’ penned by Lyricist Jai Atre and singers Harshavardhan Wavre and Mugdha Karhade have sung this song which is composed by Varun Likhte.
Sharing his experience on composing this song, music director Varun said, “ It is very important to have a title that suits the plot of the film and a title track that suits the title. Lyricist Jai Atre has penned the title song in funny words, which is the soul of the film. This is a song that compliments the plot as expected by the director. On the occasion of this song, we have dared to do some different experiments and we hope that the fans will definitely like it.”
The original concept of ‘Takatak 2′ is by Milind Kavde and he has also written the story and screenplay. Dialogue writers Kiran Berad and Sanjay Navgire have written dialogues. DOP Hazrat Sheikh Wali has done the cinematography and background music has been done by Abhinay Jagtap. Starring Prathamesh Parab, Pranali Bhalerao, Ajinkya Raut, Akshay Kelkar, Bhoomika Kadam, Komal Bodkhe, Sushant Diwekar, Swapnil Rajshekhar, Kiran Mane, Pankaj Vishnu, Kiran Berad, RJ Mahesh Kale, Smita Dongre etc. this film will be releasing on 18th August in theatres across Maharashtra.
Prasad Oak, Amruta Khanvilkar win Fakt Marathi Cine sanman
Popular artistes Prasad Oak and Amruta Khanvilkar have been conferred with Fakt Marathi Cine sanman recently by the Fakta Marathi Entertainment Channel. Both these artistes were nominated along with other versatile artistes in the Best actor and Best actress category, but both of them have emerged winners, when their names were announced at a Special ceremony held at The Club, Andheri. Prasad received the honours for his performance in the film ‘Dharmaveer’, while Amruta received the same for her performance in the film ‘Chandramukhi’.
Film ‘Dharmaveer’ also won two more awards for Best film and best direction ( Praveen Tarde). Renowned Make Up man Vidyadhar Bhatte was felicitated on this occasion for his contribution in this field. Music director duo Ajay Atul, Veteran Actor Ashok Saraf was conferred with Special award and popular actress Sonalee Kulkarni was presented with Vicco Popular Face of the Year award. This being the first year of Fakta Sanmaan, there were entertaining presentations, including dance performances by Sonalee Kulkarni, Kishori Shahane and Varsha Usgaonkar.
