Siddharth – Mrunmayee get ready for their film’s release on 28th June
Writer- director Sameer Joshi, who had earlier made films like ‘Mangalashtaka Once More’, ‘Mamachya Gavala Jaooya’, ‘Bus Stop‘, besides writing & directing many TV serials is now ready with his next film ‘Miss You Mister’ which is all set to release on 28th June 2019. Also getting ready with their film are Siddharth Chandekar & Mrunmayee Deshpande who had earlier worked together in a popular Marathi serial and also Milind Uke‘s Hindi film during their teenage.
Both Siddharth and Mrunmayee are equally excited about their film’s release, which according to them talks about ‘long distance relationship’ between a newly married couple. In short, it is about the present busy lifestyle of couple and the humour arising out of it. . How their characters find way after facing this situation, is what the film’s story is all about. Presented by Mantra Vision, the film also stars versatile Marathi artistes like Rajan Bhise, Savita Prabhune, Avinash Narkar, Radhika Vidyasagar and others.
‘Takatak’ all set for release on 28th June
Different types of comedy subjects are dealt by our Marathi film makers over the years. Now, for the first time in Marathi Cinema, sex comedy which has dodged Marathi Cinema in a big way, is all set to release on 28th June 2019. Milind Kavade who has directed several successful films in Marathi is coming up with this film suitably titled ‘Takatak’ which he has claimed to be a sex comedy in Marathi. .Produced under the banner of Purple Bull Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., V. Patke Films and Gaonwala Creations, ‘Takatak’ has a pertinent message as the undercurrent.
According to the makers, The USP of the film ‘Takatak’ is that the right type of artistes have been cast with suitable roles. Prathamesh Parab, Ritika Shrotri will be seen together in the film for the first time in the film and the trailer has raised the expectations from the film. Also there will be the pair of Abhijit Aamkar and Pranali Bhalerao in the company of stalwarts like Bharat Ganeshpure, Pradeep Patwardhan, Ananda Karekar performing under the able guidance of the director Milind Kavade. Varun Likhate has composed the songs of this film. Milind Kavade & Ajay Thakur have written the story and screenplay while Sanjay Navgire has written the dialogues while Hazrat Sheikh (Vali) is the DOP of the film.

Ajay Phansekar announces his new Marathi film ‘Senior Citizen’
Actor turned Writer- director Ajay Phansekar who had earlier made films like ‘Ratra Aarambh’, ‘Encounter’, ‘Yehi Hai Zindagi’, ‘Ek Hotee Vadi’, ‘Ramchandra Purshottam Joshi’’ and ‘Cheater’ has now announced his next Marathi film ‘Senior Citizen’ , shooting of which will begin soon. Made under the banner of Om Creations, this new film from Ajay Phansekar has certainly raised hopes of Marathi film lovers.
The announcement of star cast of this film has not been announced, but one thing is sure that it will be a thriller, according to Mr. Ajay Phansekar. And therefore, the subject of this film will be a surprise for film lovers. It may be recalled that Ajay Phansekar began his innings on 30 years ago, when he performed as a Policeman in Police detective serial 100 on Doordarshan Marathi along with Shivaji Satam and Deepak Shirke. While the other two focused on acting in Hindi and Marathi films, Ajay preferred to turn towards writing and direction and has been doing well since then.
Sanjay Dutt’s first Marathi production ‘Baba’ to release on 2nd August
After Amitabh Bachchan, Akhay Kumar, Ajay Devgan, Riteish Deshmuk and Priyanka Chopra, now it is the turn of actor Sanjay Dutt to turn producer of Marathi film. Sanjay is producing this Marathi film ‘Baba’ along with his wife Manyata under the banner of Sanjay Dutt Productions and with co producers Ashok and Aarti Subhedar. The first poster of this film was released recently and the film will be released all over Maharashtra on 2nd August 2019.
‘Baba’ stars NSD actor Deepak Dobriyal ( ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ fame) in the lead role along with renowned Marathi film actress Nandita Dhuri Patkkar as female lead. The other artistes of this film are, Spruha Joshi, Abhijeet Khandkekar, Chitaranjan Giri, Jaywant Wadkar and popular child star Aryan Menghji. The film is directed by Rajan R Gupta, who was earlier Asst. Director for Madhuri Dixit’s Marathi film ‘Bucket List’. Set on the backdrop of picturesque Konkan, it is the story of a father and his son. Sanjay Dutt has dedicated this film in memory of his late beloved father Sunil Dutt.
Sangram and Amruta clash noticed in promo of new Marathi Serial ‘Me Tuzich Re’
First the lead pair enter into personal clashes, but soon they start liking each other. This has been a successful formula adopted by love stories seen on small screen. Will forthcoming Marathi serial ‘Me Tuzich Re’ be different from this traditional formula? It remains to be seen. But, in the meanwhile this serial is all set to go on air from 24th June and will be telecast @ 7 am between Monday and Saturday on Sony Marathi. The lead pair of this serial is played by tv stars Sangram Salvi and Amruta Deshmukh.
The promo of this serial which has been released, clearly shows how a Sangram playing a protagonist comes to the rescue of cricket lovers to save the plot and challenges Amruta supposed to start her project on this plot. And this gives a clear hint that in the initial episodes they will come face to face in a clash for seeking right to this place. So, it remains to be seen how their chemistry works in this serial which is expected to target the young generation. The remaining star cast of this film is not yet disclosed.
How Sai Lokur will connect with ongoing Marathi ‘Big Boss’ show?
Last year’s finalist in Marathi Big Boss first edition Sai Lokur will connect with ‘Big Boss’ Marathi this year in a different way. According to sources, she will not be new entrant like Heena Panchal, but will be presenting a show ‘Ek Ghar Bara Bhangadi’ on social network. According to Sai, she has been receiving messages on social networking pages from her fans, whether she is watching the ongoing second edition and what does she feel about the present contestants?
The highlight of this show is that Sai will be giving her frank opinion about the contestants. And this is how she will be connected with this show indirectly, this year. Another highlight of this show is that Sai’s last year’s Big Boss friend Pushkar Jog. So, their sweet n sour friendship can be witnessed once again through this show . By the way, it is also understood that Salman Khan is also likely to make his special appearance in one of the episodes of Marathi Big Boss Show.

Marathi stars pay tributes to their fathers
All fathers play a very important role during the growing age of their children. And the parents of our Marathi stars are no exception. Today, we find many Marathi stars who have really come through hardships. Not all of them were encouraged to take up this profession, yet they have high regards for their fathers , especially for providing them all the basic necessities during their school and college days.
On the occasion of Father’s day, let us find out what some of our Marathi stars have to say about their father. TV and Film star Lalit Prabhakar feels that his father is the priceless gift to him. “When my father first came to Mumbai from a remote village in search of a job, he had no money. Those days he used to sleep on railway platform. But, soon he found a job and there was stability in his life. He even educated my mother and saw to it that she even got a job. Having come through hardships he has always advised me not to get carried away after achieving success , but to hold the feet on the ground. Now, I feel that he should relax and enjoy his hobbies.” says Lalit.
Popular stage and television Actress Mayuri Deshmukkh calls her father a Magician. Describing her father in a poetic way, she says,”Father means a hard working soul. Father means a person with a caring mind and father is one such person who is known for self sacrifice, when it comes to giving the best to his children.” Mayuri feels that these three lines are not meant only for her father but all the fathers in this world. And there cannot be a better tribute on this occasion.
Tejaswini Pandit celebrated Father’s day in a different way. She visited the Home for aged near Mumbai and spent time with the elderly people. “My father also used to visit ‘Home for aged’ and gift some of his belongings to them. My father is no more , therefore I would like to revive his old memories by spreading happiness among such elderly people. Believe me, they too are mischievous like little children.” she says.
Finally, we have one such father Mr. Charudutt Deochakke ( Father of actor Madhav Deochakke) who is proud to have a self sufficient hard working son, who has achieved something in his life, that really makes him happy.

“फादर्स डे” निमित्ताने बिग बॉस मराठीच्या घरात असलेल्या अभिनेता माधव देवचकेचे वडील चारूदत्त देवचके ह्यांच्याशी संवाद साधला असता ते म्हणाले, “लहानपणापासूनच माधवमध्ये समंजसपणा आम्हांला दिसून आलाय. ब-याचदा मुलांची ओळख त्यांच्या वडिलांमूळे असते. पण माझी ओळख माधवच्या लहानपणापासूनच ‘माधवचे वडिल’ अशी होती. मी नाट्यनिर्माता असल्यामूळे माझ्या ओळखीचा फायदा माधवला करीयरमध्ये कधी ना कधी व्हावा, अशी माझी इच्छा होती. पण माधवने कुठेही माझी ओळख न वापरता स्वत:च्या ताकदीवर आपलं करीयर घडवलं, याचा मला अभिमान आहे. अभिनेत्याच्या करीयरमध्ये ब-याचदा आर्थिक उतार-चढाव होत असतात, पण अशावेळेसही मी देऊ केलेली मदत स्वावलंबी माधवने स्विकारली नाही.”
बिग बॉसमध्ये माधव खूप चांगलं खेळतोय. असे मत व्यक्त करून त्यांनी माधवला शुभेच्छा दिल्यात.
