Mukta’s next film ‘Bandishala’ to release on 21st June
Playing a Lady Cop is not new to Marathi film industry. But, who is playing the lady Cop is important, to generate interest among the film lovers. In Marathi film and television industry, Mukta Barve has already established herself as a versatile actress, having played different characters skilfully. Now, Mukta will be seen as a dashing lady Cop through her forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bandishala‘, which is due for release on 21st June 2019.

Produced by Swati Sanjay Patil, Written by Sanjay Krishnaji Patil and directed by Milind Lele ( Manya Sajjana’ & Kurukshetra’ fame) this film presents Mukta Barve in a central character of Madhavi the Lady Cop along with Vikram Gaikwad, Asha Shelar, Sharad Ponkshe, Hemangi Kavi, Ashish Zunjarrao, Savita Prabhune, Ajay Purkar, Umesh Jagtap, Pravin Tarde, Anand Alkunte, Ananda karekar, Madhav Abyhyankar , Ashwini Giri and others. Cinematography by Suresh Deshmane & music by Amitraj are the other credits.

‘Baalaa’ set on Cricket backdrop releases timely
Cricket is considered to be the religion of people living in India. So, much is the craze of cricket. After we saw Cricket based films like ‘Iqbal’ and ‘Lagaan’ in Hindi, there were some films like ‘Well Done Bhalya’ and ‘Shikshanachya Aaichha Gho’ in Marathi too.
Presently, the IPL-20 Cricket matches are going on and the World Cup Cricket is just few days away. So, the timing is perfectly suited for a film based on cricket. Presented by Rakesh Singh and directed by Sachindra Sharma , new Marathi film ‘Baalaa ’ has been released this Friday.
Written by director Sachindra Sharma himself, the film stars Mihiresh Joshi in title role of a boy who is passionate about the game of cricket and who holds a dream of becoming a cricketer to his heart. The trailer of this film clearly indicates that his Police Inspector father wants his son to become a top police officer, but the boy is keen on playing cricket despite opposition from father. Whether the boy fulfils his dream ?
To find out, one has to watch this film, which also stars Upendra Limaye, Kranti Redkar, Vikram Gokhale, Suhasini Mulay, Kamlesh Sawant in lead roles. Former India Cricket Captain Late Ajit Wadekar will also be seen in this film as a cricket coach .
‘Vajale Ki Bara’ will be remake of ‘The Play that goes wrong’
‘The Play that goes wrong’ received immense popularity in London and America at West End and Broadway . Now, a remake of this play in Marathi is being presented by Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi , who will be making his debut as a presenter in Marathi through this play. Directed by kedar Shinde, the announcement of this play was made on the occasion of Maharashtra day, by seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha at Siddhivinayak temple, Mumbai.
This play was presented by the duo Sharman and kedar in Gujarathi and English language in India and it received good response. Having directed many hit plays in the past, Kedar Shinde will be returning to Marathi stage after a gap of three and half years. Now, all eyes on ‘Vajale Ki Bara’, to see how this remake has been presented to invite the attention of Marathi drama lovers. One thing is sure that Marathi dramas have a larger audience.

Anna Hazare all praise for ‘Ek Hota Pani’ writer Ashish Ningurkar
We are already aware of social worker Anna Hazare’s fight against injustice to common man. At the same time, we are also aware of his efforts to eradicate poverty and water conservation in drought areas of Maharashtra. Keeping this in mind, writer of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Ek Hota Pani’ met Anna Hazare personally, to brief him about the subject of his film, based on water, which is so precious today.
Speaking on this occasion, Anna Hazare praised the efforts of the writer Ashish Ningurkar for selecting this subject and wished him all the best. “Time has come, when there will be a big war over water. If there is sufficient water, the village, district, state and country can prosper. It is unfortunate, in spite of having educated ministers and administrators in our state, still we are unable to have sufficient storage of water, to cater to the daily needs of lakhs of people. At my place Ralegansiddhi, you will find no shortage of water, as we have all worked hard towards water conservation. When other villages around are dependent on water tankers, we are able to supply water to nearby villages,” he said .
Therefore the subject of ‘Ek Hota Pani’ has invited the attention of all sensible film lovers. Directed by Rohan Satghare, the film stars national award winning actor hansraj Jagtap along with Upendra Date, Anant Jog, Jairaj Nair, Child artiste Chaitra Bhujbal, Ganesh Mayekar, Deepjyoti Naik, Ranjit Jog, Sriya Mastakar, Ranjit Kamble, Trisha Patil, Shital Kolhapure, Shital Shingare, Anand Wagh, Nana Shinde,Ashish Ningurkar, Dr.Raju Patodkar , Radhakrishna Karale, Varsha Patankar, Anuradha Bhavsar, Kanchan Donde & Sandeep Patil. Ravi Jadhav returns with ‘Rampaat’ on 17th May
Writer- director Ravi Jadhav whose last film as a director was ‘Banjo’ released in 2016. Now, he returns as a director with his next Marathi film ‘Rampaat’ which is all set to release on 17th May all over Maharashtra. The film presents the journey of Mithun and Munni who like many other youngsters travel from different villages of Maharashtra to Mumbai to fulfil their dreams. We all know that not all of them succeed in their mission, unless they work very hard and find the right advice at right time.
Produced by Meghana Jadhav and Zee Studios , this film stars Abhinay Berde and Kashmira Pardeshi in lead roles. The other important artistes of this film are, Priya Berde, Abhijit Chavan & Kushal Badrike.
