If you come across good books at the most appropriate time, your life can change. Based on this philosophy, Actress and You Tuber Urmila Nimbalkar started her channel on social media suitably titled ‘Book Club Vishwa Urmila’ and today it has 88% women subscribers. Her idea was to reach out to women who are otherwise busy with their kitchen and household duties. What if they get a chance to listen to the content of such books through audio book medium ?
Urmila herself was not at all nterested in reading , as she never found time for the same due to her involvement in other things. After school and college, she got busy with her acting assignemnts. But, when she heard ‘Storytel Audiobooks’, it brought a big change in her life. She was later inspired by the Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon , who made her own videos talking about her experience reading every book that she liked. Today, because of ‘Storytel audiobook’ she can hear at least one audiobook every month. So, she can make 12 videos a month on every audiobook involving her viewers.

Umesh and Priya return to stage after a decade in ‘Jar Tar chi Goshta’
Ten years ago Umesh Kamat and Priya Bapat performed in their first Marathi play ‘Nava Gadi Nava Rajya’ and the pair attained popularity. Thereafter, both of them together performed in films and web series. Now, after almost a decade both of them will be seen together in forthcoming Marathi play ‘Jar Tar Chi Goshta’’ This play is produced by Priya Bapat under the banner of Sonal Production.
‘Jar Tar Chi Goshta’ is directed by Advait Dadarkar and Ranjit Patil . This play is written by Irwati Karnik and stars Umesh Kamat, Priya Bapat Kamat, Pallavi Ajay and Ashutosh Gokhale. Speaking about her play, Priya said, “This is my second commercial play through my home production and I am glad that I am part of this play as an actress. I was very keen on working with Umesh once again on Marathi stage. And, my wish has come true through this play. So, eagerly looking forward to appear in front of the stage audience.”

Urmila Nimbalkar attains more popularity on Youtube
Urmila Nmbalkar is a popular Marathi television actress for the past ten years who has also worked on Hindi television. But, in the recent past she has attained more popularity as a Youtuber. Today, she is the first actress from Marathi entertainment industry to be fashion influencer on youtube. Her subscribers on social media have reached 9.5 lakhs and is working with international brands.
Urmila started her Youtube channel in 2018 on the occasion of Gudhi Padwa. For the first two years she didn’t receive much response. But, when she focussed on technical issues and uncovered topics like Fashion, make –up and skin care, she started getting very good response. Soon, she launched Podcast show on Storytel audiobook app.
Speaking about her progress, Urmila says, “I am thankful to Marathi viewers of Youtube. If you work hard and present what the people want, there is a good money received on youtube.”
Suruchi Adarkar to play a teacher in ‘Chotya Bayochi Mothi Swapna’
Marathi serial ‘Chhotya Bayochi Mothi Swapna’ (छोट्या बयोची मोठ्ठी स्वप्नं) is being telecast on Sony Marathi channel at 8.30 pm from Monday to Saturday. This serial has presented a different subject based on the determination of a girl to acquire high education so as to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. Though after the arrival of Shubhankar in their lives, the mother and daughter find some support. But, after the death of her Mother, will Bayo face a biggest hurdle in her education?
However, with the entry of Suruchi Adarkar in the role of a Teacher – Anu Desai, will the things change in Bayo’s life. Will Bayo also find support of Anu Desai.
