‘Roop Nagar Ke Cheetey’ to present four glamorous girls

Ever since this Marathi film ‘Roop Nagar Ke Cheetey’ has been launched, it has been in the news for various reasons. Directed by Vihan Suryavanshi, the poster of this film was catchy and the first teaser of the film indicated that it was story about two friends played by Karan Parab and Kunal Shukla. But now, with the release of 2nd teaser of this film on social media, the four glamorous girls have been introduced. They are, Mugdha Chaphekar, Hemal Ingle, Aayushi Bhave and Sana Prabhu.

All four of them have established themselves in the glamour field either through beauty contests or entertainment industry. Mugdha Chaphekar from Mumbai has worked on television with her prominent role of Rajkumari Sanyogita in TV serial ‘Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj’. She has also won Maharashtra State award for debut Marathi film ‘The Silence’. Hemal Ingle belongs to Kolhapur being a beauty Queen at many Contests has made her debut in Marathi films through ‘Ashi Hi Aashiqui’‘ She has also appeared in TV serial ‘Vidrohi’ and in Mahesh Manjrekar’s web series ‘1962’. Sana Prabhu who is originally from Ratnagiri, is presently doing her Mass Media and Communications from Mumbai. She is a good dancer and was a finalist in Miss Pune Beauty Contest in 2018. And, Aayushi Bhave is a professional dancer in Film industry, having worked with renowned choreographers like Farah Khan, Geeta Kapur and Prabhudeva.
Who will be the new girl in ‘Boyz 3’?

The release date of ‘Boyz 3′ is coming closer, but there is still curiosity about the new girl who will be seen in this sequel along with the entertaining trio of Dhairya, Dhungya and Kabir. Keeping in mind the release date as 16th September 2022, the makers of this film have released the motion poster of this film on social media. However, the face of the new girl is only partly visible, thus raising the curiosity of the film lovers.
In ‘Boyz’ and ‘Boysz 2’ we saw the entry of new girls in the lives of this trio and on both the occasions Kabir benefitted the most. So, now who will hook this new girl ? One thing is sure that the three popular artistes seen in Boyz and Boyz2 comprising of Pratik Laad, Partha Bhalerao and Sumant Shinde are all set to entertain their admirers in this film too, under the direction of Vishal Sakharam Deorukhkar. The film is produced by Lalsaheb Shinde, Rajendra Shinde and Sanjay Chhabriya and presented by Avadhoot Gupte.
Fun filled Title song of ‘Takatak 2′ released
After experiencing stormy success of ‘Takatak’, now the sequel of this film ‘Takatak 2′ is the topic of discussion among Marathi film lovers. Recently, the chartbuster title track of this film was released. Directed by writer-director Milind Kavde, ‘Takatak 2′ has a title song ‘Ghe Takatak, De Takatak…’ penned by Lyricist Jai Atre and singers Harshavardhan Wavre and Mugdha Karhade have sung this song which is composed by Varun Likhte.

Sharing his experience on composing this song, music director Varun said, “ It is very important to have a title that suits the plot of the film and a title track that suits the title. Lyricist Jai Atre has penned the title song in funny words, which is the soul of the film. This is a song that compliments the plot as expected by the director. On the occasion of this song, we have dared to do some different experiments and we hope that the fans will definitely like it.”

The original concept of ‘Takatak 2′ is by Milind Kavde and he has also written the story and screenplay. Dialogue writers Kiran Berad and Sanjay Navgire have written dialogues. DOP Hazrat Sheikh Wali has done the cinematography and background music has been done by Abhinay Jagtap. Starring Prathamesh Parab, Pranali Bhalerao, Ajinkya Raut, Akshay Kelkar, Bhoomika Kadam, Komal Bodkhe, Sushant Diwekar, Swapnil Rajshekhar, Kiran Mane, Pankaj Vishnu, Kiran Berad, RJ Mahesh Kale, Smita Dongre etc. this film will be releasing on 18th August in theatres across Maharashtra.
Prasad Oak, Amruta Khanvilkar win Fakt Marathi Cine sanman

Popular artistes Prasad Oak and Amruta Khanvilkar have been conferred with Fakt Marathi Cine sanman recently by the Fakta Marathi Entertainment Channel. Both these artistes were nominated along with other versatile artistes in the Best actor and Best actress category, but both of them have emerged winners, when their names were announced at a Special ceremony held at The Club, Andheri. Prasad received the honours for his performance in the film ‘Dharmaveer’, while Amruta received the same for her performance in the film ‘Chandramukhi’.

Film ‘Dharmaveer’ also won two more awards for Best film and best direction ( Praveen Tarde). Renowned Make Up man Vidyadhar Bhatte was felicitated on this occasion for his contribution in this field. Music director duo Ajay Atul, Veteran Actor Ashok Saraf was conferred with Special award and popular actress Sonalee Kulkarni was presented with Vicco Popular Face of the Year award. This being the first year of Fakta Sanmaan, there were entertaining presentations, including dance performances by Sonalee Kulkarni, Kishori Shahane and Varsha Usgaonkar. The telecast of this programme will take place on Fakta Marathi channel soon.
‘Rashtra’ is getting ready for release on 26th August

‘Rashtra – Ek Ranbhoomi’ a new Marathi film is all set to ignite the flame of nationalism, as indicated through its title. The release date of this film will be 26th August 2022, which will be coinciding with the Independence day. Produced by Bunty Singh, this film has been made under the banner of Inder International and is directed by Inderpal Singh , who makes his debut as a director in Marathi films through this film.

‘To Ti Aani Fuji’ to star Lalit Prabhakar and Mrunmayee Godbole

Having worked together in the past for the successful film ‘Chi Sou Ka’ , Lalit Prabhakar and Mrunmayee Godbole have been paired in the lead roles for the forthcoming Marathi film ‘To Ti Aani Fuji’, as announced by Platoon Films recently. The story of this film revolves around a love story which happened in India and Japan. Mohit Takalkar who recently made his debut in Marathi films through Medium Spicy’ will be directing this film.

Lalit Prabhakar and Mrinmayee Godbole in Marathi Film ‘Chi Va Chi Sau Ka’
The story of this film is written by successful writer Iravati Karnik , who feels that each one of us have missed the bus of true expected love and always look back at those sweet and bitter moments. “ I am sure, this film will take the audience down memory lane to such happenings in their respective lives.”
According to the producers Shiladitya Bora and Rakesh Ware, this film will be shot at different picturesque locations like Pune, Kolad, Tokyo, Kyoto and Mount Fuji. Two cinematographers will handle the cinematography. The shooting of this film will begin soon and the film will be released on 17th February 2023 all over India.
Shreyas Jadhav launches well equipped Ganraj Studios
The first Marathi rapper & producer- director Shreyas Jadhav popularly known as King JD has launched his well equipped Ganraj Studios to provide all the film production facilities under one roof. This studio which provides all the ultra modern technical facilities such as Internal editing, Dolby, VFX Sound mixing with final output was inaugurated by Bollywood director Aneez Bazmi. Popular Marathi actor Swapnil Joshi was present as guest of honour along with other invitees.

Speaking on this occasion, Shreyas said, “ The journey of Ganraj has moved one step ahead by providing all the modern facilities such as Baselight Two, Dolby Atmos, 9.1 mixing etc. under one roof. My intention is to offer the best service with the help of experience gained by me in this field so far.” In the past, Shreyas has offered popular rap songs besides making National award winning Marathi film ‘Babu Band Baja’ and other films like ‘Me Pan Sachin’ , ‘Baghtos Kaay Mujara Kar’ and ‘Bus Stop’.
‘Bunny’ to travel worldwide at different Int. Film fests
Producer Shankar Dhuri and writer – director Nilesh Upadhye’s Marathi film ‘Bunny’, which unveiled its first look at World famous Cannes Film Festival, has been receiving very good response at different international film festivals worldwide. Few days ago, this film was selected for screening at the Cinemaking International film festival at Dhaka followed by announcement of award for this film at the Madrid International film festival, Spain.

The film has also been selected at the Fort Smith International film festival, USA, besides getting selected at the other film festivals like ‘K.Asif’, ‘Ayodhya’ and ‘Gandhar Independent’. Reacting on this success achieved by his film, Producer Shanker Dhuri feels that this was possible due to hard work put in by the entire team of technicians and artistes of this film. ‘Bunny’ presents an interesting journey of a ten year old girl who has been isolated from this world by a person with the name of Vivek. According to the makers of this film ‘Bunny’ is a Soci0- psychological thriller.
Child artiste Sanvi Raje plays the title role along with other talented artistes like Shailesh Korde and Sheetal Gaikwad. Sound design by Abhijit Sriram Deo, art direction by Anil Vath, editing by Yogesh Bhatt and background music by Akshay Eluripati are the other credits of thios film.
‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’, ‘June’ & ‘Mee Vasantrao’ to receive national awards

This year’s best Marathi film national award will be presented to ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ directed by Shantanu Rode and starring Sayali Sanjeev and Suvrat Joshi in lead roles. Overwhelmed by this award for her film, actress Sayali Sanjeev said that she had put in lot of efforts in her role and therefore was happy that her film bagged national award. She said that she was dedicating this award to her father.

Siddharth Menon who played the lead role in Marathi film ‘June’ has been awarded Best actor Special Jury mention award. This has come as the biggest gift for Suiddharth who feels that his dream has been fulfilled. He said that he was dedicating his award to the entire team of ‘June’. This film is directed by Surhud Godbole and Vaibhav Khisti and written by Nikhil Mahajan. Both these films have been produced by Planet Marathi.

Another Marathi film ‘Me Vasantrao’ invited all the attention, as this film bagged two national awards. Best playback singer award for this film was declared for Rahul Deshpande, while best sound recording award for this film was declared for Anmol Bhave. Director of this film Nipun Dharmadhikari expressed his happiness on this achievement and said that music was the soul of this film.
