‘एक घर मंतरलेलं‘ या मालिकेबद्दल बोलताना झी युवा चे बिझिनेस हेड बवेश जानवलेकर म्हणाले, ” झी युवाने आजवर अनेक उत्कृष्ट मालिका प्रेक्षकांना दिल्या , पण ही मालिका नक्कीच वेगळी असणार आहे . प्रेक्षकांच्या मनात भास आभासांच वादळ निर्माण करण्यास ही मालिका सफल होईल असा मला विश्वास आहे. प्रेक्षकांना उत्तम विषय आणि त्या विषयाची योग्य हाताळणी करत एक चांगली मालिका देण्याचा झी युवा वाहिनीचा मानस आहे.”
Mukta Barve grabs all the attention in ongoing TV serial ‘Rudram’
Many a times the selection of a particular artiste for an important role makes a big difference in popularizing a TV serial. And, if that artiste is a popular star, the viewership of the serial certainly goes up. At present, popular actress Mukta Barve is grabbing all the attention in Zee Yuva‘s ongoing suspense filled TV serial ‘Rudram‘. Playing the role of Ragini, a young widow who has lost her family except her mother in a car accident, Mukta perfectly fits into the character of an angry young woman.
But, what is important is that the character penned by the writer Girish Jayant Joshi is tailor made for talented actress like Mukta and she has given full justice to that character in few initial episodes telecast so far, since its beginning three weeks ago. In every scene she appeared, she seemed totally involved into this character of Ragini, who doesn’t think anything else than revenge against all those evil people, behind the murder of her family members. Girish Jayant Joshi who has written the story has also penned the screenplay and dialogues of this serial directed by Bhimrao Mude.
Besides Mukta Barve, there are renowned artistes like Dr.Mohan Agashe, Vandana Gupte, Mitali Jagtap, Sandeep Pathak, Sagar Talashikar and above all Suhas Palshikar in equally important roles. Looking at the instant popularity of ‘Rudram‘ serial, the makers had telecast 3 hours special show, covering all the past happenings on 27th August 2017 and that gave an impression of a suspense filled murder mystery. However, when we watch a particular episode, we find very little happenings in that half an hour long episode, with commercial breaks. Why can’t the makers think of playing one hour long episode? Even otherwise, this serial is limited to 60 episodes and some more actors like Kiran Karmarkar are yet to appear.
‘Phulpakharu’ has offered me a finest opportunity – Hruta Durgule
Today, every lead character of TV serial gets instant popularity. One such character is that of Vaidehi from the ongoing TV serial ‘Phulpakharu‘ on Zee Yuva channel. Hruta Durgule who plays this character was seen in the mega serial ‘Durva‘ on Star Pravah channel. Student of IES VN Sule Guruji English Medium School, Hruta Completed her bachelor’s degree of mass media in advertising from Ramnarain Reuia college.
In an exclusive interview to marathimovieworld, Hruta spoke about herself and her acting career.
Excerpts from the interview:
Q: During your school and college days, were you associated with acting ?
A: “No”, but before entering acting, I had done an acting workshop with Madhur and Prabhul Sir.
Q: Then, how did you get into serials?
A: I had given audition for Producer Nitin Vaidya’s serial ‘Durva‘. Rasika Deodhar was the casting director. Those days, I was doing internship for the serial ‘Pudhcha Paul‘ where being a Mass media student, I had to work as assistant director. After getting selected in ‘Durva‘ I did 1164 episodes and later gave audition for ‘Phulpakharu‘ and got selected here.
Q: We are watching your character of Vaidehi in ‘Phulpakharu‘. But, tell us how is Hruta in real life?
A: Vaidehi is very strong and thinks very practically. But, Hruta is very emotional and is not so strong .
Q: How has been your journey so far, as a television actress?
A: Very nice. And, I am getting very good response. Basically, this is a good opportunity for me. My serial ‘Durva‘ achieved grand success. And, within two months I found this role in ‘Phulpakharu‘. In ‘Durva‘ I played a politician and in ‘Phulpakharu‘ I am playing the character of my age. Therefore, enjoying a lot.
Q: Tell us something about ‘Phulpakharu‘.
A: It’s a love story. The theme is different and suited to modern times. In this serial there are two love stories. One is about young lovers and the other is about a couple, 10 years after their marriage, picturised on artistes Prasad Oak and Purva. My character of Vaidehi is of a college girl, who is very strong and is an atheist. Having lost her mother, her relationship with her father, her grandfather and younger Her maturity level is very high. In short, this serial is a well presented love story, with emotional touch.
Q: Is there anything else, besides love story, in this serial?
A: Yes, there is a major twist in this serial. There is still long time for it. But, at present, I don’t want to reveal anything about it.
Q: What are your hobbies and how you spend your free time?
A: I take interest in dancing, driving , reading and calligraphy. I read English books and very fond of Chetan Bhagat’s stories. Love to watch English and Marathi films. I want to develop my Marathi. Ever since, I got this serial ‘Phulpakharu’ I have taken interest in poems too.
Q: Last but not the least, what is your career goal ?
A: As an actress, I would like to do Drama theatre.

‘Prem He’ on Zee Yuva from 27th February
Love has no barrier of language, caste or religion. It is just an emotion, around which the life of young lovers keeps revolving. From 27th February every Monday and Tuesday at 9 pm prime time, starts a new serial on this subject suitably titled ‘Prem He’. But, this love story has rural backdrop, to show how love is expressed in this region.
The story of ‘Prem He‘ serial revolves around Sunil and Radhika played by lead pair Vaibbhav Tatwawdi and Tejashree Pradhan. The first story of this serial is ‘Ruperi Valut’ which also has a song with the same title blossoming their love. The story is written by Sachin Tadakhe and the direction is by Santosh Manjrekar. The music of this serial is by Nilesh Moharir, with Hrishikesh Ranade and Ketaki Mategaonkar rendering their voices for the title song.
‘शौर्य – गाथा अभिमानाची’ कथा पोलिसांच्या कर्तव्यदक्षतेची

Chinmayee Sumeet returns to small screen with ‘Bun Maska’
Chinmayee Sumeet is a well Known stage, television and film artiste. Moreover, she is also wife of popular Hindi and Marathi television and film artiste Sumeet Raghavan. Now, Chinmayee is returning to small screen after a long time through ongoing serial ‘Bun Maska‘ on Zee Yuva channel. She will be playing Shivani Rangole‘s mother in this serial, who is playing the role of Maitreyi.
This love story between Maitreyi and Soumitra ( Played by Shivraj Waichal) has been presented by director Vinod Lavekar. In this serial Chinmayee Sumeet is playing the character of a doctor, who owns her hospital in Mumbai. Her daughter doesn’t get along well with her mother and hence leaves with her grandmother in Pune. Maitreyi who works as a dubbing artiste and is an independent thinking young girl. Her mother arrives, as the talks between Maitreyi’s marriage with Soumitra are in progress.
New Marathi channel ‘Zee Yuva’ to entertain young audience
More than 50 % of the audience in Maharashtra comprise of youngsters. But, there are not many programmes of their interest. Keeping this in mind, Zee Group will be introducing a new channel ‘Zee Yuva’ to meet the requirements of young audience.
