Sweety Satarkar’s identity finally revealed
For the past few days actor Sangram Samel was posting on his social networking page a news about a girl ‘Sweety Satarkar’ harassing him with regular messages. Now, the truth behind such messages has been revealed. In fact, Sweety Satarkar is the character of his forthcoming Marathi film in title role. The teaser of this film with this title has since been released on social media.
Produced by Munaf Naik and Santosh Kamble , written by Sumeet Giri, directed by Shabbir Naik the music of this film is provided by santosh Mulekar, while lyrics are by Mangesh kangane , Suhas Sawant and editing by Faisal Mahadik. In this film Amruta Deshmukh and Sangram Samel play lead roles along with Vijay Nikam, Gauri Jadhav, Vandana Vaknis, Pushkar Lonarkar, Vinamra Bhabal and Prashant Vichare.
From the teaser one thing is clear that it will be an entertaining film and it remains to be seen whether Sweety Satarkar finally finds her choice, whom she has been sending messages?
Child artiste Mrunal Jadhav will be main attraction of ‘Bhaybheet’
Popular child artiste Mrunal Jadhav who has won hearts of Hindi and Marathi audience through her memorable performances in TV serials and films will now be seen in an important role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bhaybheet‘ which will be released on 28th February 2020 in Maharashtra. Produced by Shankar Rohra and Deepak Narayani and directed by Deepak Naidu , the film stars Subodh Bhave and Poorva Gokhale in lead roles.
Known for her prominent role of Ajay Devgan’s little daughter in the film ‘Drishyam’, Mrunal had invited all the attention of film lovers, besides performing memorable roles in films like ‘Tu Hi Re’, ‘Lai Bhari’, ‘Nagarik’, ‘Court’ , ‘Timepass 2′, ‘A Paying Ghost’, ‘Andyacha Funda’and TV serials like ‘Radha Hi Bavari’ and ‘Unch Majha Jhoka’. Now, it will be interesting to watch this talented child artiste in an important role in ‘Bhaybheet’.
Neha Kakkar makes her debut as singer in Marathi through ‘Makeup’
Popular singer Neha kakkar has made her debut as a singer in Marathi through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Makeup’ which is due for release on 7th February 2020. Her latest song released in Marathi along with Swapnil Bandodkar is “Kase Nirale He karaar Premache” is actually a Marathi version of Neha kakkar’s popular hit Hindi song “Mile Ho Tum Humko”. Generally, we have been listening to Hindi version of Popular Marathi songs, but now a Marathi version of popular Hindi song will be heard by Marathi music lovers.
Speaking about her experience about this song, Neha kakkar says, “The original song ‘Mile Ho Tum Humko’ is very close to me. My brother Tony Kakkar has produced this song and it received overwhelming response from my fans. Perhaps, for this reason, the Marathi version of this song has been presented through this Marathi film ‘Makeup’. I am very happy that in both the versions my voice is there. Initially, I was having little difficulty in singing this song in Marathi, but lyricist Mangesh Kangne and my director helped me a lot. Till now, I have seen only one Marathi film and that is ‘Sairat‘. Incidentally, this film stars Rinku Rajguru, on whom this song has been pictured.”
Besides Rinku Rajguru and Chinmay Udgirkar in the lead roles, the film also stars Pratiksha Lonkar, Milind Safai, Rajan Tamhane, Sumukhi Pendse, Swati Bovlekar and Tejpal Wagh.
Makarand, Shashank & Shantanu come together to form Stage and Screen Academy
National award winning writer director Makarand Mane , versatile actor Shashank Shende and experienced actor and executive producer Shantanu Gangane have come together to form an academy Bahurupee Manch Stage and Screen Academy , which was launched recently by actor Amey Wagh recently. The academy will offer complete training about acting besides knowledge about different fields including writing about stage and screen.
The academy will help all the newcomers to find openings in the field of stage, television, films and web series which are offering big opportunities . The acting course of this academy will begin from February for all. At the same time, advanced course for screen will also be there. In the due course of time, the academy will also introduce courses in Classical dance, music, Body language, reading , sound design, video production, still photography and writing . According to Makarand Mane, the students trained in this institute will help offer film makers a choice to select the suitable artistes for their projects.
Suspense filled ‘Rahasya’ adds an adivasi song into its screenplay
Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Rahasya’ has already raised a lot of curiosity about its suspense filled story. Now, the makers of this film have added an Aadivasi song to suit the requirement of the culture of Khandesh, on the backdrop of which this film has been made. The Aadvivasi people in this region celebrate Holi with such type of dance on music, the beats of which resemble African beats. The song has been picturised on the beautiful location of Satpuda area.
Director Bhavesh Patil is confident that the song picturised on this occasion will be a treat for the audience. The actual theme of the film is unfolding of some strange suspense filled happenings. The film is now all set for release on 7th February 2020. Story and screenplay is by director Bhavesh himself, with Lucky Badgujar, Swati Patil, Rutuja Sonar, Swati Shukla forming the team of lad artistes. Cinematography by Jitendra Achrekar, music by Narendra Bhide, editing by Bhavesh Patil , VFX by Rutudhwaj Deshpande are other credits, while Sunidhi Chauhan, Aadarsh Shinde, Prem Kotwal & Yamini Chavan have rendered their voices for the songs in this film.

Padmini Kolhapure finds a suitable role in ‘Prawaas’ to display her hobby
Besides acting many artistes are also good at something else. But, they pursue it as their hobby. Some are good at sports, some are good singers , photographers and so on. However, not all of them get an opportunity to display their hobby through the roles they portray in films. Popular Bollywood and Marathi film actress Padmini Kolhapure is an exception. She has found a suitable role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Prawaas’, which is due for release shortly.
Padmini is very good at painting and in this film she has found a lead role of a painting artist that too another versatile Marathi actor Ashok Saraf. When this role was offered to her by director Shashank Udapurkar, Padmini was in tears, after hearing the script. So much she was moved after hearing the story. More than that she was happy that she could do lot of paintings during the shooting schedule of this film.
The film also stars Vikram Gokhale, Rajit Kapoor & Shashank Udapurkar. The shooting of this film has taken place in America and Manali and the music has been scored by Bollywood music directors Salim Suleman, with lyrics by Guru Thakur. Popular singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Sukhvinder Singh and Hariharan have rendered their voices for the songs in this film.
Kamlesh Sawant to play Gomaji Patil in ‘Shaheed Bhai Kotwal’
Kamlesh Sawant has already established himself as an actor through variety of memorable roles in Hindi and Marathi films so far. Now, he will be seen playing an important role of a committed freedom fighter Shahid Gomaji Patil in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Shaheed Bhai Kotwal’, which is due for release on 24th January 2020.
Produced by Pravin Dattatray Patil and directed by Eknath Desale and Parag Sawant the story, screenplay and dialogues are penned by Eknath Desale. Besides the central character of Bhail Kotwal, the film also revolves around the brave father and son duo Gomaji Patil and Hiraji Patil. Shahid Bhai Kotwal formed his own army to fight British rulers and sacrificed his life at the young age of 31. Actor Kamalesh Swant who plays the character of Gomaji is confident that the characters in this film would inspire the audience.
The film also stars Ashutosh Patki,Rujuta bagwe, Nishigandha Wad, Madhavi Juvekar, Arun Nalawade, Ganesh Yadav, Pankaj Vishnu, Milind dastane, Siddheshwar Zadbuke, Srirang Deshmukh, Abhay Rane, Paresh Hindurao & Prajakta Dighe.
Marathi film ‘Mann Fakiraa’ to be released this ‘Valentine’s Day’
First teaser of the Marathi film ‘Mann Fakiraa’ was recently unveiled on the Social media by the producer S N Productions and Smita Vinay Ganu, Nitin Prakash Vaidya, Om Prakash Bhatt, Sanjay Shankarwar and Kishor Patel. This film , which is a romantic drama is being released on the Valentine’s Day on February 14, 2020. This film will be the directorial debut of leading Marathi actress Mrunmayee Pratibha Deshpande.
Suvrat Joshi, Sayali Sanjeev, Anjali Patil and Ankit Mohan will be in the lead roles in the film. It’s a story of a dilemma between newly married couple and their past life. ‘They love each other or not…? Yes, they do…no, perhaps not…,’ the tagline of the films waves on these lines. The teaser reveals more facts about the film and the story which revolves around very delicate relationship between the two. The teaser also throws light on the fact that it deals with the subject which would be very close to the hearts of today’s youth.
Suvrat Joshi is playing Bhushan while Sayali Sanjeev is in the role of Ria. Anjali Patil and Ankit Mohan are in similarly key roles in the film and are featured in the teaser too. Bhusha-Ria tie the knot through arranged marriage tradition. They are happily married for quite some time, before they come across their pasts and their affairs they had before the marriage. रुपेरी पडद्यावर दिसणार शिवरायांचा ‘शिवप्रताप’
नाटक व मालिकांच्या माध्यमातून इतिहासाची पाने उलगडल्यानंतर अभिनेता खासदार डॉ. अमोल कोल्हे आता छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांच्या जीवनचरित्रातील तेजोमय घटनांचे महान पर्व ‘शिवप्रताप’ या तीन चित्रपटांच्या मालिकेतून रुपेरी पडद्यावर आणण्यासाठी सज्ज झाले आहेत. ‘जगदंब क्रिएशन्स’ या संस्थेतर्फे तीन मराठी चित्रपटांची घोषणा नुकतीच करण्यात आली. रुपेरी पडद्यावर यानिमित्ताने शिवशाही अनुभवायला मिळणार आहे.

अफझलखानाच्या वधानंतर महाराजांच्या बंदोबस्तासाठी औरंगजेबाने पाठवलेल्या शाहिस्ताखानाला पळवून लावल्यानंतर रयतेची झालेली नुकसान भरपाई भरून काढण्यासाठी सुरतेची मोहिम आखली. आणि शाहिस्ताखानाने केलेल्या नुकसानीचा ‘वचपा’ काढला.
