‘Tighee’ trailer hints at emotion filled story
Trailer of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Tighee’ was released recently. This film filled with emotions presents three women comprising of a Mother and her two daughters. The tagline of this film ‘Aaicha Ghar Hazar Aathavani’ (आईचं घर, हजार आठवणी – Mother’s house, thousands of memories), says it all. This film stars Bharati Achrekar in the role of Mother and Sonalee Kulkarni and Nehha Pendse-Bayas playing her two daughters.
This film is produced by Nikhil Mahajan, Surhud Godbole, Swapnil Bhangale and Neha Pendse Bayas and is written and directed by Jeejivisha Kale. According to Jijivisha, “Love between Mother and daughter is beyond words. Love cannot be expressed, it is felt. And, sufferings don’t speak, they are understood. Through ‘Tighee’ we have presented those unspoken expressions and unseen emotions. This film will be released on 6th March 2026.”
‘Tighee’ to present the Journey of Woman’s mind
Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Tighee’ produced by Shardul Singh Bayas, Neha Pendse Bayas, Nikhil Mahajan, Surhud Godbole and Swapnil Bhangale and directed by Jijivisha Kale will present the Journey of Woman’s mind. This film will be released during the next year on 6th March coinciding with Women’s day. This film presents the hidden emotions and memories in Mother- daughter relationship.
Director Jijivisha Kale has paid more attention on the perception of three women and their ideology of looking at life. The title roles of these three women will be played by versatile actress Bharati Achrekar along with talented actresses Neha Pendse Bayas and Sonalee Kulkarni. ‘Parinati – Badal Swatahsathi’ to release on 1st August
Two talented actresses of Marathi film industry namely Sonalee Kulkarni and Amruta Subhash will be coming together for the first time, through forthcoming Marathi film ‘Parinati – Badal Swatahsathi‘ . Produced by Parag Mehta and Harsh Narula and directed by Akshay Balsaraf, this film is ready for release on 1st August 2025.

In the latest promotional video released by makers of the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Jarann’, we find senior popular actresses Sonali Kulkarni and Bhargavi Chirmule together performing on a song. Moreover, this song is rendered by Amruta Subhash, Sindhuja Srinivasan, Manisha Pandaranki and Lakshmi Meghana in their voices.

Sonalee to star in Malayalam film ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’ opposite Superstar Mohanlal
Popular Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni, who after performing in Hindi films will now make her debut in Malayalam through the film ‘Malaikottai Vaaliban’. The film has already been released in Malayalam language and the dubbed version of this film in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu languages is now due for release. In this film, Sonalee shares the screen with South Superstar Mohanlal.
The trailer of this film clearly shows Sonalee displaying her dancing skills and therefore has plenty of scope to become popular in south. Speaking about this film, Sonalle says, “ This is my first film in Malayalam and I had an opportunity to work with stalwarts which really makes me happy. This film will be released worldwide in countries like Uk, USA, Canada and others. In Canada this will be the first big regional film to be released there.This is a good experience for me. ‘Mogalmardini Chatrapati Tararani’ to release on 22nd March 2024
On the auspicious occasion of PranPratishta at Shri Ram Mandir, Ayodhya, the makers of forthcoming Marathi film Mogalmardini Chatrapati Tararani (मोगलमर्दिनी छत्रपती ताराराणी) have announced the release date of their film as 22nd March 2024. For this purpose, a grand ceremony was held in Ram Mandir at Wadala, Mumbai. A new poster of this film was also unveiled on this occasion.
Present for this ceremony were Sonalee Kulkarni, Aashay Kulkarni, Producer Akshay Bardapurkar, director Rahul Jadhav and others. The lead artistes of this film performed the Pooja on this auspicious occasion. Prasad Oak, Amruta Khanvilkar win Fakt Marathi Cine sanman
Popular artistes Prasad Oak and Amruta Khanvilkar have been conferred with Fakt Marathi Cine sanman recently by the Fakta Marathi Entertainment Channel. Both these artistes were nominated along with other versatile artistes in the Best actor and Best actress category, but both of them have emerged winners, when their names were announced at a Special ceremony held at The Club, Andheri. Prasad received the honours for his performance in the film ‘Dharmaveer’, while Amruta received the same for her performance in the film ‘Chandramukhi’.
Film ‘Dharmaveer’ also won two more awards for Best film and best direction ( Praveen Tarde). Renowned Make Up man Vidyadhar Bhatte was felicitated on this occasion for his contribution in this field. Music director duo Ajay Atul, Veteran Actor Ashok Saraf was conferred with Special award and popular actress Sonalee Kulkarni was presented with Vicco Popular Face of the Year award.
