‘Readymix’ and ‘Jai Swachhamev Jayate’ to release on Ultra Jhakaas
Two popular Marathi films ‘Readymix’ and ‘Jai Satyamev Jayate’ are returning for release, this time Marathi on OTT platform Ultra Jhakaas, from 18th March 2024. While ‘Readymix’ deals with a plan by Nupur to to bring out his elder sister from the despair of her break up in love; while ‘Jai Swachhamev Jayate’ shows how Makarand Anaspure plans make his village Gogalgaon clean and beautiful.

‘Readymix’ film offers Vaibhav Tatwavadi , Prarthana Behere and Neha Joshi in the lead roles, while Makarand Anaspure will shoulder the responsibility with his comedy along with other artistes in ‘Jai Swachhamev Jayate’. According to Mr. Sushil Agrawal,CEO of Ultra Media and Entertainment Pvt.Ltd; “It is very important to entertain the audience besides offering a social message. And by offering these films I am feeling happy.”

शशांक कोंडविलकर यांनी गीताला शब्दबद्ध केले असून गणेश सुर्वे यांनी उत्स्फूर्त संगीत दिले आहे. गौरव चाटी यांनी देवतांच्या भक्तीत सर्वांनी विलीन व्हावे असे स्वर या गीतास दिले आहेत. ‘छापा काटा’ चित्रपटाची निर्मिती श्री. सुशीलकुमार अग्रवाल यांनी केली असून पटकथा आणि दिग्दर्शन संदीप मनोहर नवरे यांनी केले आहे. येत्या १५ डिसेंबर २०२३ रोजी संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात चित्रपट प्रदर्शित होणार आहे. प्रेक्षकांना चित्रपटगृहात ‘आई तुझ्या नावानं गोंधळ मांडला’ या गोंधळगीताचा मनसोक्त आनंद लुटता येणार आहे.
Grand Premiere show of ‘Varhadi Vajantri’ in traditional style
Grand premiere show of Marathi film ‘Varhadi Vajantri (वऱ्हाडी वाजंत्री)’ was held in a traditional style to suit the title of this film. The Band troupe was present at the gate of Mumbai’s Citylight Cinema to welcome the invitees. And the artistes performed dance on the music before entering the cinema hall. Moreover, popular actor Jaywant Wadkar’s wife had come along with a special cake for this occasion, which carried the picture of ‘Varhadi Vajantri’.

Music and trailer of ‘Varhadi Vajantri’ launched in Mumbai
Music and trailer of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Varhadi Vajantri’ was launched in a unique way at Citylight Cinema hall in Mumbai recently. Music director Avinash-Vishwajeet, Shashank Powar and singer Dr. Ganesh Chandanshive came together to give live performance on the title song of this film directed Vijay Patkar. During this event all the artistes and singers also took part.
After the musical event, the trailer of this film was launched. Produced by Capt. Kalpesh Ravindra Magar under the banner of Swaraj Film Productions ‘Varhadi Vajantri’ will be released on 11th November 2022. Marathi stars extend helping hand to flood affected people from Maharashtra
While the Bollywood stars for whom Maharashtra is ‘Karmabhoomi’ have turned a blind eye towards the flood affected people of the state, the Marathi stars have come forward to take the lead and offer support to the affected people. Artistes like Subodh Bhave, Sai Tamhankar and many others have already started the campaign to raise funds and other help to the flood affected people mainly from Kolhapur, Sangli and surrounding areas.
While the Pani foundation of Nana Patekar and Makarand Anaspure have already started sending all the help to the flood affected victims, actor Pushkar Shrotri has also appealed to Ganesh Mandals in Maharashtra not to spend lavishly during the festival . Instead they should pass on the help to the families of flood affected areas. Looking at their sincere effort to take the lead for this social cause, many well wishers of the stars have already responded positively .
TV actor Sagar Talashikar has also appealed to social workers in villages spread around Kolhapur and Sangli for the cleanliness drive post floods. And to meet their expenses in travelling from one village to other, he has appealed to donors. Looking at the initiative taken by Marathi stars, it is expected that the bollywood stars should also come forward to show their solidarity to help the flood victims.
Mahesh Manjrekar & Amey Khopkar unite for ‘De Dhakka 2′
11 years ago ‘De Dhakka’ an entertaining Marathi film made a very good business of 10 Crore. Now, the sequel of this film ‘De Dhakka 2′ has united renowned director Mahesh Manjrekar and Producer turned distributor Amey Khopkar . They propose to release this film next year on 3rd January 2020. The poster of ‘De Dhakka 2′ was released on social media recently, and it indicates that the story of this film has some connection with London.
Produced by Yatin jadhav and Swati Khopkar, the film will be presented by Amey Vinod Khopkar Entertainment and Skylink Entertainment. The film will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar & Sudhesh Manjrekar. From among the star cast of the original film, the main artistes Makarand anaspure, Shivaji satam, Medha Manjrekar & Siddharth jadhav will be seen in this sequel. However, the names of the others in the star cast have not been disclosed.
This sequel movie is scheduled for release in next year 2019, Looking forward to watch first part’s magic on box office.

Marathi Play ‘Ulat Sulat’ witnesses overwhelming response from farmers
Marathi play ‘Ulat Sulat‘ is creating new record of receiving overwhelming response from audience these days. This play which speaks about the difficulties faced by farmers, has been drawing good crowds at various places, wherever the play is staged, especially in rural Maharashtra. And, the majority of the audience comprise of farmers. Recently, this play was staged in Barshi village in Solapur, where thousands of people who gathered, maintained a very good discipline.
Produced by Aishwarya and Suyog, ‘Ulat Sulat‘ play is written by Kiran Mane and directed by Kumar Sohoni. Makarand Anaspure‘s touching performance is the highlight of this play. And, this message is being spread through word of mouth publicity. The 50th show of this play, which was held in Mumbai, was also attended by celebrities like Nana Patekar and Uday Nirgudkar, who were all praise for Kiran Mane, the writer of this play. Besides writing, Kiran is also performing in this play, opposite Makarand Anaspure. Now, this play will also be staged in Muscat on 10th May 2018.
